What happiness feels like | 2015 in review

Happy 2016!

While I'm still finding it pretty crazy how much happened last year, Instagram's new 'Bestnine' feature made me realise just how much I accomplished, just how many happy moments were shared and just how much of a whirlwind 2015 was.
So I thought I'd share a few with you guys!

January -
  •  Celebrated my sister's 22nd birthday!

February -
  •  The start of something amazing...

April -
  •  April was, in many ways, a month of ups and downs. While I had the month off uni for revision, and the weather brightened, my family lost someone very dear to us all. My nan was possibly the most beautiful soul I've ever encountered, and I still think about her every day. It was really hard for me to come to terms with this loss, but I know she's no longer in pain and still treasure every memory I have of her with my family.

May -
  •  With May came the start of exam season. It was really daunting going into my first ever university exams, but when they were over I seriously felt like a weight had been lifted. No matter the outcome, I was happy and proud of myself for getting through all of my exams, and kept surprisingly calm when they were over.
June -
  • The final exams were finished for the year, and my sister and I embarked on our first ever holiday alone together. Barcelona is a beautiful city, and this might have been my favourite holiday to date - amazing company, amazing views and the most perfect place.

 July -
  • I went on another holiday, this time to Brighton, with my boyfriend, Nathan and two of our friends. This was an amazing experience, and I fell in love with the hidden treasures around every corner.
  • My nineteenth birthday had to be the highlight of July. The last birthday I'd spend as a teenager, and the first I spent with Nathan. We went for an amazing meal at Aluna, followed by numerous cocktails and a trip to the Sealife Center.

October -
  •  I started back at university, going into my second year studying English.!

November -
  •  Went to an amazing restaurant for Nathan's birthday!

December -
  • I saw Motley Crue and Alice Cooper live at Motley Crue's last tour! Probably one of the best shows I've ever been to - the stage was crazy and we got so close!
  • I travelled to Liverpool with Nathan and his parents to watch Duran Duran, and had such an amazing time! The city is really cool, especially at Christmas time with so many decorations everywhere!
